Dear Senator:

I am a very concerned citizen asking for your support of H.R. 4472/S. 1086. The National Children's Act of 2005 will provide a comprehensive system for tracking offenders, and improve the way information is released about sexual predators into our communities. It is time to do everything we possibly can to stop the sexual assaults and murders of our American children at the hands of repeat violent offenders who have been released back into society. Protecting America's children should be our number 1 priority!

Today, there are more than 500,000 sex offenders who are supposed to be registered in the U.S.; however, it's believed that 100,000 of these offenders are 'lost' in the system. It is time that we close the loopholes between state programs, so sex offenders can't move from state to state and elude authorities. We need federal and state funding so law enforcement agencies have the resources to track these predators and make sure that information about sex offenders is released to all of our communities.

Senator, we need you to sign this bill with out any more delays before America loses another precious child.
